Rock Band

Kevin had borrowed the game Rock Band from some friends of ours and one day last week, I came home to him and Jack rocking out! It was the cutest thing! Jack loved the drums and he liked the guitar too. It was funny because he sort of learned how to do the rocker head banger thing just by watching the game. It was cute! I accidently deleted the best video off my camera of the two of the them, but I did get some others. I loved the game too, turns out I was pretty okay at the drums!

Cheerios and Bananas

Jack's new found breakfast is a bowl of Cheerios with some sliced bananas. I love that he'll eat this since it's an easy breakfast! He looked like such a big boy eating this!

Tie-Dyed Shirt

Last Monday at daycare, the kids tie-dyed their own t-shirts and we had a few extra, so I let one of the older girls do one for Jack. Of course it's HUGE on him, but he'll have it for when he's older. I took a picture of it anyway, it looks like a dress on him!

Snakey and the Balloon - Lots of pictures on this one!

Yesterday, since it was Amanda's birthday, I decided to go pick out a flower basket and some balloons to take to her at school. Jack came with me, of course, to the flower shop downtown which also happens to have a toy store upstairs, so while we were waiting for the flowers, Jack and I went up to look at all the toys! There were so many cool things up there! We found this big circular rack of stuffed snakes and Jack loved them. He started making the hissing sound and tried pulling them all down from the shelf! I decided to go ahead and get him a snake. Not just becuause he liked them, but also because we used to have a snake thing around the house when we were kids! So now Jack has a new friend, Snakey. The lady at the flower shop thought Jack was so cute and well-behaved, so she gave him a helium balloon and I tied it to his belt loop. He got such a kick out of it! They wanted to take a picture of him with it for their brochure, but they weren't able to find the camera. Darn! But I managed to get a few pictures of him when we got home!

A New Slide

Over this past weekend, I found a Little Tikes slide and picnic table off CraigsList and decided that it'd be fun to have around for Jack! I am glad because he loves the slide!
I don't have pictures of him with the little table yet, but I'll get some soon. We put the table in his room where he can play on and color and do puzzles and stuff. And the slide can go outside or inside.
